Spark Boards Inc. is proud to announce the challenge of taking Michigan under the wing and making a difference. As you may or may not know the automotive companies in the state of michigan have not been doing very well. Many people have lost there jobs and many more are losing there jobs. This in fact makes the rest of the economy of the wonderful state fall. People are leaving this beautiful all season state and going to states that have lower taxes, and possibly higher job demand. Spark has recently created a plan to turn the state completely around and it is going to take all of our readers, customers, and supporters to do so. We want to give clothes to kids who may not afford them, create and help build better recreational centers, open up more jobs, and turn this state completely around. We plan on doing this one project at a time and the more funding we get the sooner we will be able to meet our goal. You can help us by clicking around this site, purchasing clothing from our company, or by donating money. We appreciate all your help and want to start by showing you a few places we will begin: Contacting 242community, Contacting Town Halls, handing out as many t-shirts as we can to kids in need in multiple locations, and everything we possibly can!

Snowboarding Michigan!

Best Mountains in Michigan and where we've been:

Boyne Mountain - Located in Northern Michigan at Boyne Falls. This is a decent place to ride the terrain park is mainly on one run. Decent 5 to 6 minute runs.

Nubs Nob - Located in Harbor Springs Michigan. Awesome scenery, great terrain park, decent size mountain, and fun for everyone! Great place for all levels of riders and if you are just THAT good then master your moves on the terrain park.

Crystal Mountain - Located in Thomsonville Michigan. By far one of the best all around mountains I have ever been to! You could board here ALL day and not get sick of this place. Crazy halfpipe, awesome terrain park, great scenery.

Shanty Creek Resorts - Located in Bellaire Michigan. Locals call this place Schuss mountain because it is the biggest of there "power of three" Schuss mountain has a pretty good terrain park and a few different neat scenic runs to go down. If you know the place well you can make your own runs through the trees where the best fresh powder is ;)

Mt.Brighton - Located in Brightin Michigan or lower Michigan. This mountain should be called a hill the runs are short, the lifts are slow, and the terrain park consists of an icy lopsided halfpipe, and a few rails next to a tow rope. Dont recommend boarding here unless you live in Brighton or real close by.

Alpine Valley - Located in White Lake Michigan. I have heard that this mountain was pretty decent similar in size to mount brighton. But a much better terrain park and more of a different feel to it. This place also has tubing which can get pretty intense!

Snow Snake - Located in Harrison Michigan. This place is pretty small I have to admit. They only reason it goes on this post is because when I went there one word... POWDER! Although it was small with two lifts it had the best powder in michigan. Had a decent little terrain park with a couple of good jumps and some strategically placed rails.

Also if someone would like to host this edition of the carnival please notify me. We are looking for skaters, snowboarders, wakeboarders, pros, sponsored individuals, or anyone interested in boarding.

GUIDELINES-

Must be submitted by deadline date and time

Must be about skateboarding, wakeboarding, snowboarding, sponsorships, upcoming events, new styles, new clothing, new companies, etc. (a.k.a relevant to boarding)

Snow Riding season...

Snowboarding/Snowriding is just about over we have a few good months of season and then its time to prepare for Skateboarding, and Waking. Spark Boards is proud to announce that we will be carrying Skate Decks, and Completes this summer along with some other very cool boards. All of our boards are custom designed and custom made by many individuals on the Spark Team. We can look forward to this release around April.

Our company will soon be launching an all out awesome website where you will be able to purchase designer t-shirts, designer hoodies, skateboards, wakeboards, snowboards, and accessories. During the launch of the site our company will be giving out t-shirts for as little as $10 for the first set. Once we sell through the limited quantity we will have a new line of designer clothes.
